NORTH VERNON
David Keith Winters, 64, of North Vernon, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at his residence.
He was born April 1, 1958, in Louisville, Kentucky. David was the son of James Edward and Mary Evelyn (Wheat) Winters. He worked as a machinist and painter for NTN Driveshaft in North Vernon for eight years before retiring in 2020. His favorite hobbies were working on his motorcycle and trucks, making wooden plaques, and riding his motorcycle with friends and feeling the wind and the fresh breeze.
He is survived by his two daughters, April (Richard) Burch of Connersville and Leilani (Andrew) Concepcion of North Vernon; sisters, Wilma (Bud) Davis and Lois (Hugh) Couch, both of Sellersburg; brother, Carl (Medea) Witten of Virginia Beach, Virginia; son in-law, Chad Monk of Columbus; and grandchildren, Jasmine, Serenity, and Rachael Burch, all of Connersville, Donovan (Bridget) Davis of Ogilville, Lana Winters-Brondum of Las Vegas, Nevada, Roman and Isabella Concepcion, both of North Vernon, and Lilah and Samantha Monk, both of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Michelle Monk; and sisters, Linda Richey and Marie Winters.
A funeral service for David will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Dove-Sharp &Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
