COLUMBUS
Sharon James-Beabout, 67, of Columbus, passed away June 2, 2023 at her home.
Sharon was born April 29, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Clyde W. and Charlene Holland Lowry. She married Jeffrey L. Beabout on June 29, 1990.
Sharon was the manager of Sleep Inn &Suites. She loved her job and the people that worked there. She was always planning parties and celebrations for special events they would have in their lives. Sharon loved holidays, especially Christmas. Most of all, Sharon loved her family. They were the most important thing in her life, and that was reflected in Sharon’s enthusiastic preparations for birthday parties or any other celebration for events happening in her family’s lives. Sharon had a beautiful soul and was loved by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
Sharon is survived by her husband; her mother Charlene Dalmbert of Columbus; a son Justin M. James of Columbus; daughters Kristen T. Hyatt and Courtney M. James, both of Columbus; grandchildren Aaden Hyatt, Cheri and Matti Wolfe, Jesse, Lilly, and Gracie James, and Zoey Findley; siblings Mark A. (Amy) Lowry and Teresa K. (Mike) Lowry both of Paris Crossing; a niece Cori Warner and a nephew Drake Lowry; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Wednesday.
