Ruth Ann Day Ferguson, 70, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. Ruth Ann was born February 9, 1953 in Elizabethtown, Indiana. She was the daughter of John and Lula Day.
She was a member of the Covenant Family Worship Center Church of God. Ruth was a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother. She was always supportive of her family and loved them unconditionally.
She enjoyed watching birds, baking sweets for her grandchildren, and planting flowers.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ken Ferguson; her daughters, Katena (Ronnie) Anderson, Angel (Nathan) England, and Crystal (Josh) Wison; sisters, Nancy Morris and Linda Franklin; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and another great-grandchild on the way.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Ruth’s life at a graveside service held Saturday, June 24 at 11 am at Springer Cemetery with Pastor John Carr officiating. A luncheon will be held immediately following the ceremony at Covenant Family Worship Center 3070 McKinley Avenue in Columbus.
