SILVIS, Ill. — Tyler Duncan carded a 1-under-par 70 in Thursday’s opening round and is tied for 64th place in the John Deere Classic.
Starting on the back nine, the Columbus North graduate shot even-par 36 on his first nine and 1-under 34 on the front at TPC Deere Run. He had two bogeys and three birdies, including one on his final hole of the day.
Jonas Blixt leads the tournament at 9-under 62. Grayson Murray is two shots back at 7-under 64.
