COLUMBUS, Ind. — Base Road, between State Road 46 and County Road 850E, is closed to traffic beginning today until 4 p.m. Tuesday, weather permitting.
The road will be completely closed to through traffic due to the existing culvert being removed and preparing for the new culvert to be replaced Tuesday.
The Bartholomew County Highway Department is asking motorists to avoid this area as it is completely closed until the culvert is replaced.
