Seymour Evening Lions to host golf scramble
The 21st Annual Seymour Evening Lions Club Golf Scramble will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 26 at Shadowood Golf Course. Registration is limited to 18 teams and closes Aug. 23.
Entry fee is $300 per foursome or $75 per person and includes greens fees, cart, range balls, dinner, soft drinks and door prizes. There will be a putting contest, and up to two mulligans will be available for $5 or for a pair of used eye glasses. First place pays $800, with $400 for second and $300 for third.

North cheerleaders to host cheer clinic
Columbus North’s cheerleaders will be hosting a Cheerleading Clinic Sept. 9 from 9 to 11 a.m. for Grades K-through-3 and from Noon to 2 p.m. for Grades 4-through-6.
Cost is $40. Those signed up by Sept. 1 will receive a camp t-shirt.
