GREENWOOD — Class 3A No. 4 Columbus North scored first Tuesday, but 3A No. 8 Center Grove answered three minutes later, and the boys soccer game ended in a 1-1 tie.
The Bull Dogs (4-0-2) got on the board in the 55th minute when Christian Cardoso scored off an assist from Mathiang Kak. Following the Trojans goal, North had a couple more good chances, but put shots just over the crossbar.
The Bull Dogs outshot Center Grove 19-4, putting seven shots on goal to two for the Trojans. Juan Jose Salcedo Calderon did not face a shot in the first half, and Noah Marsh recorded one save in the second half for North.
