NORTH VERNON — Columbus East pulled out a three-set win at No. 1 doubles Thursday to claim a 3-2 boys tennis victory at Jennings County.
Brady Redelman beat Isaac Lightner 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles for the Olympians (4-4). East’s Ethan Bumbalough and Jacob Dettmer topped Ryan Schuck and Cole Skinner 2-6, 7-6 (4), 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, and Tyler Ernst and Trevor Ernst defeated Brady Sentz and Ty Zohrlaut 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
For the Panthers (1-5), Parker Bales beat Erik Takahashi 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, and Rider Ruddick topped Henry Ulrich 7-5, 7-5 at No. 3 singles.
