SHELBYVILLE — Edinburgh won two of the three singles matches Thursday, but Southwestern (Shelby) swept the doubles to post a 3-2 Mid-Hoosier Conference boys tennis win.
Austin Brockman beat Kyle Beck 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, and Bailey Totten blanked Andrew Pile 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Lancers (1-3, 1-2).
Edinburgh’s Milas Burkman fell to James Oliver 7-5, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Jayson Music and Matthew Burton lost to Carter Snepp and Chris Cecil 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Teddy Crawhorn and Braylon Lenkner fell to David Coulston and Caleb McDonald 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
