Bull Dogs blank Braves

BLOOMINGTON — Third-ranked Columbus North remained unbeaten in Conference Indiana with a rain-shortened 3-0 win against Terre Haute South Tuesday in a boys tennis match played at Bloomington North.

Playing without injured No. 1 singles player Hank Lin, Parth Shah moved up to No. 1 singles and beat Vatsal Mannepalli 6-1, 6-1 for the Bull Dogs (5-1, 3-0). Amrit Kar and Anvay Atram blanked Raghan Bakshi and Connor Hatch 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, and Michael Crossman and Toki Murabayashi topped Nathan Wright and Tyler Swan 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.

North’s Austin Clark was leading Vaishant Mannepalli 6-6 (4-2) at No. 2 singles, and Teddy Littrell led Jarko Rumbaoa 6-4, 3-0 at No. 3 singles when the match was called.
