GRENSBURG — South Decatur came close in the first set Tuesday, but host North Decatur posted a 25-22, 25-16, 25-17 Mid-Hoosier Conference volleyball win.
Zsophia Sharp led the Cougars (9-3, 1-1) with five kills, one block, 17 digs and three aces. Molly Eden pounded five kills, Makayla Somers recorded 11 assists and one block and Taylor Somers and Elizabeth Bennett each had one block.
Also for South Decatur, Paige McQueen tallied two kills and 13 digs, and Eden added 15 digs and one ace.
