Bull Dogs blank Franklin

FRANKLIN — Playing without injured No. 1 singles player Hank Lin for the second consecutive night, third-ranked Columbus North still rolled to a 5-0 boys tennis win Wednesday at Franklin.

Parth Shah blanked Reid Davidson 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Austin Clark beat Nathan Neville 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Teddy Littrell topped Luke Sherry 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3 singles for the Bull Dogs (6-1).

North did not drop a game in doubles. Amrit Kar and Anvay Atram downed Tyler Jones and Brady Tucker 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, and Michael Crossman and Toki Murabayashi defeated Jaxson Doddridge and Chase Alyea 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
