ST. LEON — East Central led 1-0 at halftime Monday, but Class 3A No. 7 Columbus North rallied for a 2-1 boys soccer victory.
Christian Cardoso scored off an assist from Aidan Whitley in the 47th minute to tie it, and Whitley scored the game-winner on a rebound off a shot from Thomas De La Cruz in the 76th minute for the Bull Dogs (6-2-2).

Both teams finished with 14 shots, with the Trojans putting six shots on goal to four for North. Juan Jose Salcedo Calderon recorded four saves in 76 minutes, and Sam Brown added one save in four minutes in goal.
