The members and board of directors of the Columbus Fellowship Club would like to sincerely thank the United Way volunteers who participated in a Day of Service on Friday, Sept. 8, providing a corps of at least 10 hardworking, cheerful and efficient workers. They were able to accomplish a remarkable amount of improvement in the safety and appearance of the grounds at CFC at 725 Jonesville Road.
These most generous people trimmed and cleared brush, cleaned gutters, delittered the grounds with almost four hours of their volunteer time. We are most grateful. These folks representing Ivy Tech and Cummins Inc. epitomize the giving, friendly, motivated citizens of our community who make it such a special place to live.
