NORTH VERNON — Columbus North made it close in the third set Thursday, but Jennings County cruised in the first two for a 25-10, 25-10, 27-25 volleyball victory.
Avynn Belding pounded 10 kills, Addison Martin notched 22 digs and Mallory Manowitz served three aces to lead the Panthers (10-3).
Also for Jennings, Charlee Barlow and Abrey Belding each tallied eight kills, Aylah Belding recorded 16 digs and Manowitz added 13 digs. Martin, Avynn Belding, Abrey Belding and Sydney Kegley all added two aces.
Reese Edwards led the Bull Dogs (9-7) with 17 assists and two aces. Karen Dutro pounded seven kills, Kennedy Horn had one solo and two assist blocks and Morgan Osborn notched 16 digs.
Also for North, Horn and Kaitlin White each tallied five kills, and Dutro and Elaina Penrod each had two block assists. Edwards added 15 digs.
