NORTH VERNON — Jennings County raced to a 35-0 lead midway through the second quarter Friday and went on to post a 54-26 homecoming win against Madison.
Branden Braun carried three times for 128 yards and three touchdowns, and returned a kickoff 75 yards for a score for the Panthers (3-2). Lane Kirchner caught two touchdown passes from Sam Burkman.
JoJo Hifo returned two punts for touchdowns, blocked two kicks and led the Jennings defense with four solo and 17 assisted tackles.
