BLOOMINGTON — Class 3A No. 8 Bloomington South scored in the final four minutes Monday to pull out a 2-1 boys soccer win against Columbus East.
Boston Ely scored the game-tying goal in the 67th minute for the Olympians (4-4-3) off an assist from Emilio Quintero Aguirre. But the Panthers netted the game-winner in the 77th.
Bloomington South outshot East 18-12, putting 10 shots on goal to six for the Olympians. August Comer recorded eight saves.
