OLDENBURG — South Decatur came close in the second set Tuesday, but Oldenburg Academy claimed a 25-11, 25-20, 25-12 volleyball victory.
Zsophia Sharp recorded eight lills and 16 digs, and Makayla Somers had 14 assists and two aces to lead the Cougars (12-6). Taylor Somers had one solo block.
Also for South Decatur, Taylor Somers tallied four kills and and nine digs, and Sharp and Makayla Somers each had one block assist. Paige McQueen added 11 digs and one ace.
