Mary “Kaysie” Jolliff

HARTSVILLE

Mary “Kaysie” Jolliff, 68, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Kaysie was born April 12, 1955, in Batesville, Indiana, to Lloyd and Mary (Fieler) Frensemeier.

Kaysie spent the majority of her career working in the medical community of Columbus at Southern Indiana ENT and for Southern Indiana Medical Holdings as a Practice Manager. She completed her career at Decatur County Memorial Hospital, working as a Credentialing Specialist. She was also a founding partner in establishing Special By Design, an embroidery screen printing business located in Hope, Indiana, that she started with a friend.

Kaysie married Ralph Jolliff on May 26, 1979, and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2021. Kaysie’s greatest pride and joy was her family. Her world revolved around her husband, sons, and grandchildren.

Kaysie is survived by two sons, Joshua (Rachel) Jolliff and Bobby (Brittany) Jolliff; and seven grandchildren, Olivia, Landon, Riley Claire, Jaxsen, Maisen, Elin, and Aivin Kay Jolliff. She is also survived by brothers, David (Carol) Frensemeier, Mike (Shannon) Frensemeier, and Tim (Dotty) Frensemeier; and a dear, life-long friend, Mary Elliott.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Ralph; her parents; one brother, Richard Frensemeier; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Frensemeier.

A funeral service celebrating Kaysie’s life will be held Monday, October 2 at 7 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel 3729 25th Street in Columbus. Friends may gather for visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.

Memorial donations in her name may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or the Foundation Fighting Blindness Vision Walk.
