Hauser, South Decatur run at Greensburg

GREENSBURG — Hauser’s boys finished fifth, and South Decatur’s girls were ninth and boys 10th in Thursday’s 50th Annual Greensburg Cross Country Invitational.

Milan won the boys meet with 49 points to 57 for runner-up Greensburg and 63 for Roncalli. The Jets scored 155 points, and South Decatur finished with 292.

Colin Kistler led Hauser with a 10th-place finish in 17 minutes, 30.9 seconds for 5,000 meters (3.1 miles). Nolan Dailey took 15th in 18:14.3, while Kase Meister was 39th (19:33.5), Mason Moore 46th (19:51.8), Collin Buck 52nd (20:28.0), Grady Niccum 57th (20:53.8), Braydon McFarland 58th (20:53.9) and Koleson Gerenetz 64th (21:07.6).

Nicholas Hunter finished 32nd in 19:12.7 to lead South Decatur. Conner Newby took 62nd in 21:05.9, while Donovan Hale was 80th (21:55.3) Logan Wilkinson 92nd (22:45.8), Bob Tryon 97th (23:55.8), Keaton Troutman 100th (24:16.0) and Josh Chastain 117th (27:06.0).

Roncalli won the girls meet with 23 points. South Decatur finished with 245.

Clair Schoettmer led the Cougars with a 50th-place finish in 25:29.0. Brayley Sundal took 63rd in 27:13.5, while Bri Benefiel was 73rd (28:29.9), Brooklyn Ortman 82nd (29:11.1), Mary Schwering 88th (30:18.9) and Andrea Brogan 94th (32:33.5).

Hauser had one girls runner. Addison Dailey finished 87th in 29:50.3.
