Bartholomew County

Bicycle Boogie — 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Upland Columbus Pump House, 148 Lindsey St., Columbus. If you love the outdoors and pedaling through spectacular scenery, come experience Bartholomew and Brown counties as only the locals get to enjoy them. Each of the three rides offer unique sites to see and experience. Proceeds from the ride help fund the IUPUC Alumni Association Scholarship.

Next Generation Day — Noon to 4 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Next Generation Day is a family-friendly event that activates the 2023 Public by Design Exhibition installations. This fun, collaborative community event will feature activities for young people at various installation sites around downtown and encourage the use of the Exhibit Columbus Activity Guide in exploring the Exhibition.

Fiesta Latina — Noon to 10 p.m., downtown Columbus on Fourth Street, Su Casa and Tu Futuro celebrate the rich culture of Latin America, with music, artisans and food, free admission.

Pride Festival — 1 to 7 p.m., Mill Race Park, 50 Carl Miske Drive, Columbus. This festival unites Columbus as one community that celebrates diversity, fosters inclusion for all and embraces the LGBTQ community, free admission.

Skating Extravaganza — 2 to 4 p.m., Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena, 2501 Lincoln Park Drive, Columbus. Free skating extravaganza to try all types of ice skating. We offer figure skating, hockey and speedskating. Join us for an afternoon of free instruction and skate rental.

Learn to Play Hockey — 4:15 to 5:15 p.m., Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena, 2501 Lincoln Park Drive, Columbus. Children ages 4 to 10 can learn the basic skills of hockey without an over emphasis on winning. Free equipment is available to use. Cost is $5 per child. Please arrive 30 minutes early to get fitted for your equipment.
