Paint and Skate — 9 to 10:45 a.m., Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena, 2501 Lincoln Park Dr., Columbus. Paint and Skate for ages 6-12. Join us at Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena for a fun day of painting and fun on the ice.

Family Storytime — 11 a.m. to noon, Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Children and their families are invited to join us for Family Storytime about this weekend’s eclipse. This program features fun stories, songs, rhymes, and movement while building literacy skills.

Notary available at Hope Library — 2 to 3 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Come to Hope Branch Library on Fridays from 2 to 3 p.m. to get items notarized by staff member notary Jennifer Pardue. Please bring photo ID. This is a Hope walk-in hour with no appointment required.

HEART Show — 5 to 8 p.m., The Commons, 300 Washington St., Columbus. In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month, Turning Point invites the community to join them for the 2023 HEART Show. The free public event will host an array of art from local studentS, emerging, and professional artists, with the intentions of using artists’ creations as a means of interpersonal violence prevention. Art will be for sale. All sales will directly benefit Turning Point services and programs.

Concert — 7 p.m., St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6045 E. State St., Columbus. IU Jacobs School of Music Harp Ensemble with Prof. Elzbieta Szmyt, artistic director. Admission is free.
