DAYTON, Ohio — South Decatur ventured to Ohio for its regular season finale Friday and came home with a 38-15 win at Dayton Christian.
The Cougars (7-2) led only 7-0 at halftime before pulling away in the second half.
Jaylynn McMurray ran for a touchdown and threw for a touchdown. Corbin Johnson, Jackson Ray and Tyler Bishop all ran for touchdowns.
Colby Rathburn caught a touchdown pass and had two interceptions and Isaac Gasper forced three fumbles to lead the defense. McKinley Shook kicked a field goal and was 5 for 5 on extra points.
