COLUMBUS, Ind. — A local man who was shot outside of a Columbus residence during a reported robbery on Wednesday night has died.
Columbus police said Bryan Streeval, 36, Columbus, was found with a gunshot wound and unresponsive in the yard of an apartment building int he 1900 block of Pinebrooke court at about 10:27 p.m. Oct. 11.
Officers were sent to the location on a disturbance/robbery complaint, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.
CPD officers provided medical care to Streeval until paramedics arrived, Harris said. Streeval was transported to IU Methodist Hospital where he died early Sunday morning, Harris said.
The investigation into the shooting/robbery is ongoing.
