Our Connection Specialists offer assistance with Medicare Open Enrollment to residents of Columbus and its surrounding communities. Sara Bishop, Courtney Watkins, Claudia Saenz-Velez, and Alyssa Miller are all certified SHIP Medicare Counselors ready to help you navigate your health insurance questions. All of our insurance navigation services are provided free of charge.
The Medicare Open Enrollment period runs now through December 7, 2023. The Open Enrollment period provides an opportunity to evaluate your current Part D drug plan or Advantage Plan, OR to switch to a different type of coverage for 2024. During this time, you will see many Medicare advertisements on television. If you are over the age of 65, you will also likely receive calls from insurance companies offering you a new plan.
