Whatever the Weather — 11 to 11:30 a.m., Donner Park, 739 22nd St., Columbus. Join library staff at Donner Park at the covered shelter next to the playground for a storytime and playdate that will occur whatever the weather. Children ages 1 to 5 and their caregivers are invited for stories, songs, games, and art. This month features a preschool-friendly scavenger hunt at the park.

Teen Mental Health First Aid — 4 to 5:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Teen Mental Health First Aid teaches how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in themselves, their friends, and peers.

Teen NaNoWriMo Writer’s Group — 4:30 to 6 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Creative writing workshops all month long celebrate National Novel Writing Month. Each session will have a theme, but feel free to come with work you’ve already done. Today’s session theme is kickoff/idea generation.

Creating Pollinator Habitat with Native Plants — 6 to 7:30 p.m., Zoom or Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Learn how to support local pollinators by establishing pollinator habitat with native plants. Kevin Tungesvick, senior Ecologist at Eco Logic, will discuss the plant species utilized for this habitat creation, the methods for establishment, and some successful prospects, including the large pollinator meadow at Newfields.

Author Talk — 8 to 9 p.m., online conversation with “Full House” star John Stamos discussing his moving and vulnerable memoir, “If You Would Have Told Me”.
