ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. — Tyler Duncan fired an 8-under-par 62 in Saturday’s third round and moved into fourth place in going into Sunday’s final round of the RSM Classic.
The Columbus North graduate shot 4-under 31 on both nines at Sea Island Golf Club’s Seaside Course. He had eight birdies in a bogey-free round.
Duncan had opened with rounds of 68 and 65 on Thursday and Friday. He sits at 17-under 195, three shots out of the lead.
Ludvig Aberg leads the tournament at 20-under 192. Eric Cole is one shot back at 19-under 193, and Mackenzie Hughes is two shots back at 18-under 194.
The RSM Classic is the only PGA Tour event that Duncan has won. He captured that title in 2019.
