CORYDON — Columbus East outscored Corydon Central 23-19 in the second half Saturday, but couldn’t overcome a 16-point halftime deficit in a 50-38 girls basketball loss at Corydon Central.

Kimberly Carothers led the Olympians (2-5) with eight points. Caroline Frost and Madelyn Poe each added seven.
