Bull Dogs rout Artesians for first win of season

MARTINSVILLE — Columbus North picked up its first boys basketball win of the season Saturday, a 66-40 victory at Martinsville.

The Bull Dogs (1-3) jumped out to a 31-16 halftime lead and never looked back.

Max Coomes led North with a career-high 17 points. Caleb Ferguson scored 14, and Garrett Long added nine.
