South Decatur topples Jets

GREENSBURG — South Decatur jumped out to a 28-7 halftime lead Thursday and went on to post a 45-23 Mid-Hoosier Conference girls basketball win against Hauser.

Makayla Somers scored 14 points, while Makayla Puckett had 12 and Paige McQueen added nine for the Cougars (7-4, 3-0). Molly Eden collected 12 rebounds and four steals.

Braelyn Williams led the Jets (3-8, 1-2) with 12 points.
