Letter: Must CRH take farmland for future development?

From: Ruth Newkirk

As a retired farmer in southern Bartholomew County, I am disappointed that Columbus Regional Hospital wants to turn farmland into a concrete slab and buildings.

Farmland is disappearing every day. Will future generations be glad CRH took such action? Property CRH bought several years ago has never been used and just sits there empty. Why not use the empty property for its slab and buildings?
