Columbus Christian boys defeat Community Christian

Columbus Christian jumped out to a 26-13 lead after one quarter Friday and went on to post a 64-55 boys basketball win against Community Christian.

Peyton Walden led the Crusaders (5-4) with 30 points. Cam Pritchard added eight.

Columbus Christian will honor its 2014 state champion boys and 2014 national champion girls teams at tonight’s girls-boys doubleheader against Phalen Leadership Academy.
