Notary available at Hope Library — 2 to 3 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Come to Hope Branch Library on Fridays from 2 to 3 p.m. to get items notarized by staff member notary Jennifer Pardue. Please bring photo ID. This is a Hope walk-in hour with no appointment required.

Tween Stitch Camp — 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Tweens can join library staff to learn and practice the basics of both crocheting and knitting. Beginners welcome, no experience needed. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Teen STEAM: Ice Globes — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Use Science to create your very own lighted ice sculpture. All materials provided.

Teen Date Night: A Holiday Double Feature — 4 to 9 p.m., Crump Theater, 425 Third St., Columbus. Doors open 4 p.m., “Elf” will show at 5 p.m., and “Krampus” will show at 7 p.m. This event is open to all local middle and high school students, who are invited to bring a date, a friend, or their whole team. CNC Training Workshop — 6 to 7:30 p.m., Columbus Propeller, 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. Learn to use Propeller’s Forest Electric 4X4 CNC routing table. Workshop attendees will be shown the basics of Cut2D Pro. This hands-on class is designed to equip you with the knowledge and expertise to master the CNC router. Cost ($20 non-members, $10 members) includes wood, supplies and use of equipment. Safety equipment will be provided.
