Patterson went 6 of 6 from 3-point range and led the Olympians with 23 points and five rebounds in a 49-48 loss at Greensburg.

His performance last week: “I was happy with it. We were down and we needed some buckets, so I had to step up.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “I just kind of get mentally locked in.”

Alivia Elmore // Jennings County senior basketball player

Alivia Elmore

Elmore led the Panthers with 21 points in a 62-36 win at Columbus North and 19 points in a 62-18 victory against East Central.

Her performance last week: “I feel really good about it. I just came back from an injury this year, so it was a little slow at the beginning of the season, but it’s really good right now.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “We listen to music in the locker room before the game and get hyped in there.”

Favorite drink: “Glacier Freeze Gatorade”

Favorite food: “I love mac ’n cheese.”
