BATESVILLE — Columbus North boys basketball pulled out a win in its Batesville Tournament opener Thursday morning, but fell to Roncalli 56-46 in Thursday evening’s title game.
The Bull Dogs and Royals were tied 38-38 after three quarters, but Roncalli pulled away in the fourth. Caleb Ferguson led North (3-5) with 16 points, while Judah Lewis and Ben Ferguson each scored eight and Garrett Long added seven.
Long led the Bull Dogs with 18 points in a 56-53 semifinal win against Batesville. Caleb Ferguson scored 16, Lewis had 12 and Nolan Pickup added eight.
