HOPE — The South Decatur girls basketball team salvaged a win out of the Hauser Holiday Classic on Thursday, beating Greenwood Christian Academy 60-40 in the seventh-place game.
Paige McQueen led the Cougars (9-8) with 18 points. Makayla Somers and Makayla Puckett each scored nine, and Molly Eden added eight points, eight rebounds and five steals. Brayley Sundal had six assists.
