Mrs. Roush was a member of Gamma Phi Beta National Sorority and president of Beta Gamma chapter, Bowling Green State University; member of Tri Kappa Sorority where she served as president of both active and Beta Associate Chapters, Kendallville, IN. In the early years Peg was a Cub Scout leader and then led a Girl Scout troop. She was active in the Noble County Red Cross Blood Program for several years, and inactive member of Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Roush, along with her husband Bob, was a member of Trinity Church, United Methodist (formerly First Methodist), Kendallville, singing in the Altar Choir for more than forty years. She and her husband also were affiliate members of the Spring Lake Presbyterian Church in Sebring, FL. Peg was a “stay at home mom”, and homemaker.

Surviving are three daughters, Leslie Jeanne (Richard Fielding) Smith, Columbus; Marsha (William E. III) Lee Cornelius, Woodstock, GA; and Deborah Kay Kautza, of Kendallville; two sons, Dr. Richard Schuyler (Joyce Conner) Roush, Louisville, KY; Dr. Robert Alan (Jane Ann) Roush, of Kendallville.
