BROOKVILLE — Trailing by nine points entering the fourth quarter, Hauser mounted a comeback, but fell just short in a 39-38 boys basketball loss at Franklin County on Thursday.
The free-throw line was a big factor. The Wildcats went 13 of 18 from the line, while the Jets were just 5 of 10.
Ledger Gelfius and Stryker Gill each scored 10 points to lead Hauser (10-3). Taeshaun Tungate and Kam Blair each added eight.
