The Columbus Redevelopment Commission has rescheduled a TIF 101 public information session for 4 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Cal Brand meeting room at Columbus City Hall.
The purpose of the session is to provide information about tax increment financing, how TIF money is captured and permitted uses of the money, financing options with TIF money, annual filing deadlines and to preview any legislative updates.
Guest presenters are Bradley Bingham, CRC bond counsel, Barnes and Thornburg LLP and Andrew Lanam, CPA, CRC Financial Advisor, Stifel Public Finance.
