Brian’s picks

* 1964 The Tribute sounds about as authentic as The Beatles of perhaps any other group I’ve heard echoing the sound and significance of the Fab Four. The band’s sense of detail devoted to the quartet’s early years seems substantial, and their reviews from concert attendees attest to all that. Members will be in concert at 7 p.m. Jan. 25 at Brown County Music Center, 200 Maple Leaf Drive in Nashville. Information: browncountymusiccenter.com.

* You can get something of an alternative view of the winter chill as Disney On Ice presents “Into the Magic!” Sunday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, 125 S. Pennsylvania St., in Indianapolis. The new show includes Belle and the Beast’s castle, the courageous Moana, and Miguel from “Coco.” Other Disney characters in the presentation include Anna and Elsa on their journey to North Mountain to stop the eternal winter. They just got my attention. Information: disneyonice.com.

*Mark your calendar now: Nationally touring ’70s and ’80s soft rock band Yacht Rock Revue, with Columbus natives Nick Niespodziani (shown here) and Peter Olson, are scheduled to be in concert Feb. 10 at Brown County Music Center, 200 Maple Leaf Drive in Nashville. The group just performed days ago during halftime of an Atlanta Hawks NBA basketball game at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. A social media clip showed the group performing Kenny Loggins’ “Heart to Heart.” Information: browncountymusiccenter.com.
