The Columbus North graduate had opened with a 5-under 67 on Thursday at the Pete Dye Stadium Course. He sits at 8-under 136 through 36 holes.
Sam Burns leads the tournament at 17-under 127. Michael Kim is one shot back at 16-under 128.
