Slow start dooms Olympians at Jeffersonville

JEFFERSONVILLE — Jeffersonville jumped out to a 35-6 lead after one quarter Saturday and went on to hand Columbus East a 77-43 Hoosier Hills Conference boys basketball defeat.

Jack Fischvogt scored 11 points to lead the Olympians (4-10, 0-3), who were without leading scorer Keaton Lawson. Danny Coriden scored nine points, and Ethan Bumbalough added seven.
