COLUMBUS, INDIANA
Cara L. Edwards, 61, a resident of Columbus, Indiana, passed from this life at 8:25 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Traditions of Columbus.
Cara was born in Hayward, California, September 9, 1962, the daughter of Walter and Ruby Williams Sprague.
Cara had worked in human resources at Ivy Tech Community College in Columbus and was currently the marketing administrator at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Cara had a passion for traveling and had traveled all over the United States. Cara will be remembered as a very personable people person with many talents.
Cara’s life will be cherished by her sons, Dylan (Alicia) Hughes of Columbus and Taylor Hughes of Columbus; her father, Walter Sprague of Columbus; and her brother, Tim (Katrina) Barr of Columbus.
Cara was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Sprague.
In keeping with Cara’s wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be no service at this time.
