New year, new shows at Brown County Music Center

NASHVILLE — With the new year comes a slate of new shows at the Brown County Music Center, 200 Maple Leaf Drive in Nashville. That ranges from pop to rock to country and even game shows, according to organizers.

Here’s a quick look at some of the upcoming highlights.

  • Thursday: 1964 The Tribute early Beatles tribute band.
  • Saturday: Ace Frehley, the Kiss lead guitarist and co-founder. His bio calls him the most successful solo member of the group.
  • Feb. 2: Country music band Shenandoah.
  • Feb. 4: “Daybreak: The Music and Passion of Barry Manilow.” Got to admit: pianist Joe Hite looks and sounds like the pop star.
  • Feb. 10: Yacht Rock Revue, with two ex-Columbus members, in a voyage of soft ’70s tunes that the band’s audiences have come to love anew.
  • Feb. 18: Heavily-streamed country artist Lee Brice in the Me and My Guitar Tour.
  • Feb. 25: Toto on the Dogs of Oz Tour.
  • Feb. 28: “The Price is Right Live.” Just like on TV, this presentation features fairly fabulous prizes, from electronics to vacations to cars.
  • March 1: Celtic punk band Flogging Molly on the Road to Rebellion tour.
  • March 2: Country star John Michael Montgomery, boasting seven No. 1 singles.
  • March 7: Blue October, the platinum-certified alternative group on the Spinning the Truth Around tour.
  • March 8: Gary Allan, a country artist best known for the Top 10 tune, “Her Man.”
  • March 15: Country singer Terri Clark.
  • March 16: Long-established horn-based funk band Tower of Power.
  • March 18: Scott Stapp, former lead singer of the rock band Creed.
  • March 21: British guitarist and songwriter Steve Hackett.
  • March 24: Country singer/songwriter Clint Black.
