Lake won his quarterfinal and semifinal matches by pin and won his championship match by decision Saturday to capture the 175-pound weight class and help lead the Olympians to the Jeffersonville Regional title.

Liza Froedge
Froedge led the Cougars with 20 points in a 73-21 first-round win against Medora — eclipsing the 1,000-point mark for her career — and 22 in Friday’s 54-38 semifinal win against New Washington and scored 17 in Saturday’s 67-58 sectional final win against Rising Sun.
Her performance last week: “I was happy with it. I think I stepped up as a senior and played my role.”
Do you do anything special to prepare? “I eat at Dunkin (Donuts) before every game.”
