NORTH VERNON — On the day Scottsburg took over the No. 1 spot in the Class 3A state rankings, Jennings County handed the Warriors a 62-49 boys basketball defeat Tuesday night.
Carter Kent led the Panthers (11-12) with 24 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists. Dorian Hacker scored 12 points, Cole Sigler had nine points and Austin Byford added eight points and eight rebounds.
