COLUMBUS, Ind — Columbus Fire Department Engine 6 provided mutual aid assistance to Wayne Township Fire Department Wednesday afternoon for a storage building fire in Bethel Village, said Capt. Mike Wilson, Columbus Fire Department spokesman.
Engine 6 was dispatched at approximately 3:33 p.m. Wednesday to the 500 block of Daugherty Street and upon arrival to the scene, found a well involved fire that had spread to another storage building in a neighboring yard. A privacy fence and nearby vehicle also sustained damage.
