Duncan tied for 61st in TPC after third-round 72

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — Tyler Duncan carded an even-par 72 in Saturday’s third round and is tied for 61st place going into Sunday’s final round of The Players Championship.

The Columbus North graduate was 4-over after five holes on Saturday, but after parring No. 6, birdied four of the next five holes to get back to even for the day. He had opened with rounds of 67 and 75 on Thursday and Friday and sits at 2-under 214 through 54 holes.

Xander Schauffele leads the tournament at 17-under 199. Wyndham Clark is one shot back at 16-under 200, and Brian Harmon is two back at 15-under 201.
