Bloomington South sweeps Olympians

BLOOMINGTON — Columbus East opened its track season Saturday with dual-meet losses at Bloomington South. The Panthers won the boys meet 127-5 and the girls contest 101-27.

Jenna Guse won the girls high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 10 inches and finished second in the 200 (28.75 seconds), and Sophie Glick won the 400 in 1:04.98. Other second-place finishers for the girls were Carsyn Schlehuser in the 100 (13.33), Amelia Fay in the 1,600 (6:35.35) and Victoria Cuhadar in the 800 (2:43.07).

Ryder Meek led the Olympian boys with a tie for second in the high jump (5-10).
