IUC baseball dropped a River States Conference doubleheader to IU Kokomo on Saturday, falling 8-3 and 16-4.
Peyton Blinn went 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs, and Lucas Slager went 2 for 4 in the opener. Nathan Van Bibber, the first of four Crimson Pride pitchers, took the loss.
IUC was held to three hits in the second game. Jackson Gilcrest, the first of four Crimson Pride pitchers, took the loss.
IUC (10-27, 2-13) visits UC-Clermont on Wednesday and returns home for a single game Friday and a doubleheader Saturday against Midway (Kentucky), with action starting at 1 p.m. both days.
